Is there a rainforest lodge type place accessible from Kuala Lumpur with nearby hiking trails?
Posted By: Jeff Sherman // Category: HikingI am traveling to KL, Malaysia, in 2011 and I would like to do some birding in the highlands around KL if possible. I have read about Genting, but I am not interested in staying in a casino or theme park type place, so I don’t think Genting is for me.
Kuala Selangor Nature Park is a nice place near KL to do birding adventure but its its not in the highland. Your best bet is Genting, but if you’re not keen to stay in the casino, you can stay at the Genting Foothill (Janda Baik).
..or you might want to check out Frasers Hill but i’ve never been there myself..heee
