you risk dying …
you risk dying every day in every situation… even falling down the stairs. the difference is – if you’re a seafarer, you’re trained to survive in case the worst happens… I doubt human can be trained to survive a car crash or a heart attack. Surviving a shipwreck – if it’s not too fast – you got more than enough chances
