    Yes..things are not as they were 100yrs ago…..though in yellowstone the gov is still killing Bison..and the state on Montana…..I always thought wild animals were supposed to be wold..not touched by humans..yet wild horses are rounded up every year by man???????

    The bisons just …
    The bisons just need to stomp on the wolves, then their doomed. Not saying that I hate wolves, but people should like get wolves away from helpless animals such as elk, deer, bison.

    So let me get this …
    So let me get this straight…. The buffalo outnumber the wolves 20 to 1and it is more than 5x the weight and size of a wolf. However despite this, the herds solution is to run for miles until the wolves give up…mmk…….Play him off Darwin cat!

    @m8s4lif wolves …
    @m8s4lif wolves can’t damage nature, they’re a part of it -_- and I don’t think it is such a large problem, yeah maybe they eat more calves then normal but they are not gonna kill every bison in Yellowstone, they aren’t humans y’know, they hunt like the Indians did, they take only what they need, a wolf is not gonna waste energy on killing a bison if it’s not hungry, maybe there’s just an increase in the wolf population? which is a good thing

    @l4mp13 If we wipe …
    @l4mp13 If we wipe out the Elk and Bison populations we also harm the Grizzlies as well. And a few other critters. I have never stated that wolves are bad. Wolves are just wolves. I have never stated that I don’t want to kill the wolves. {By the way, I also have never stated that I wanted to kill them.} Please don’t try to put words into my mouth. In Yellowstone we are a going to have to make choices. None will be perfectly natural. My opinion, the wolves are doing more damage than good.

  7. m8s4lif Says:

    @l4mp13 Well over …
    @l4mp13 Well over 100 years ago man totally changed the ecosystem. We then decided to have a beautiful park called Yellowstone. Not like things were before, but as good as we could get it. At least that has been the goal. Its not perfectly natural without wolves, its not perfectly natural with wolves. Neither is natural. What do we do? The best we can. We have to make choices between an unnatural park with healthy Elk, and Bison populations or an unnatural park with wolves.

    @m8s4lif well maybe you’ve written some things you haven’t read

  10. l4mp13 Says:

    @m8s4lif so whats …
    @m8s4lif so whats the problem then you keep saying that humans should not interfere with nature and then you come with some problem and suddenly its ok to interfere with nature? and then you try to defend some vague opinion about how the wolves are bad but you don’t hate them although they eat all the bison which makes you upset bud then you don’t want yo kill the wolves (yay for that) so you end up doing nothing at all -_- what in name are you trying to do?

  11. m8s4lif Says:

    @l4mp13 The …
    @l4mp13 The ecosystem was not tumbling down before they were reintroduced. Again I ask —-NATURAL? If you could expand Yellowstone to about 1 million square miles then you might have a more natural environment for the wolves, bison and elk to live coexist in together. As is, its not quite what I would refer to as completely natural environment. Look, I love Yellowstone, but it is only what it is. Its not like things were 200 years ago.

  12. l4mp13 Says:

    @m8s4lif Just let …
    @m8s4lif Just let nature do its own thing, wolves are a very important part of Yellowstone, if you would remove them then the hole ecosystem would come tumbling down, all humans are doing is always like “we need to save this species!!” but if this species gets extinct cuz of natural reasons then they are not supposed to live, and isn’t that what evolution is all about? survival of the fittest?

  13. m8s4lif Says:

    @l4mp13 Wolves hunt …
    @l4mp13 Wolves hunt any calf that they can get, weak or not. If you don’t care about the bison then I don’t know what to say to you. I wonder if you care about the elk. As for myself, I wish that there was a way that we could have the wolves without wiping out the bison and elk herds. If I had to make a choice then it would be for the bison and elk.

  14. l4mp13 Says:

    @m8s4lif well …
    @m8s4lif well wolves only hunt the weakest calves and men doesn’t control nature we can set it up and build a big fence around it or something but that doesn’t mean nature is gonna do what we want, if the wolves eat more calves then they did 200 years ago then we shouldn’t try to change that, if every bison dies there then they aren’t meant to live there (may sound harsh but it’s how nature works)

  15. m8s4lif Says:

    @l4mp13 Natural …
    @l4mp13 Natural selection? Natural? What we have in Yellowstone is a mans experiment. In Yellowstone, if a calf survives its more fantastic luck than it is strength. Even the strongest calf is no match for a pack of wolves. Please understand, I’m not against wolves. But what we have in Yellowstone is not what we had 200 years ago. I wish it could be, but its not. Man thinks that he can replicate nature, but on his terms. It does not work that way. Will man ever learn?

  16. l4mp13 Says:

    @m8s4lif yup …
    @m8s4lif yup interfering with nature is a great idea huh? it’s natural selection it even helps with evolution as now only the strongest calves survive and so the bison herds may get smaller but there will be stronger creatures in them, which again will make the wolves stronger and bether in hunting as only the strong wolves will get to catch them and so on

    @lJohnnyTheFoxl Are …
    @lJohnnyTheFoxl Are you referring to the wolves as the “cowardly savages”? What a ludicrous thing to say. Every animal has to eat, including humans.

    Wolves rock! Well done wolves! Why does everyone hate the beatufiul creatures? A healthy wolf in the wild has never attacked a human. Most people like Tigers. Tigers have!
